How It's Made
-This bowl started as a pot of molten glass at 2300 degrees F.
- Clear glass is gathered onto a blowpipe.
- The clear glass is rolled in painted glass dust.
- The TurtleDove is then shaped by hand using specialty tools.
- Finally, it is let to cool down slowly overnight in an annealer for 24 hours.
Glass is an expressive material. It says many things…The reason we chose this translucent, light-holding, talismanic material, glass, is the variety it exhibits in accordance with what arises.
In this collection, we visualize the traditional and contemporary together with the real and fantastic. In this way, we fly Istanbul's Doves from the past to the present.

Can I hang this printing horizontally or vertically?
You will receive your printings exactly like on the product photos. The size chart image is there only for comparison purpose and does not say anything about the hanging direction of the product.
What is that windows-looking reflection on all the prints?
Window reflection on the corners has been used to give glass effect for the product photos. There is no such a reflection on the real products.
